After a couple of months in coding, I have decided to bring to life a summary of my coding journey about how I feel after 9 months of learning and actually coding.
Do not wait for the perfection: go and embrace the first opportunities
After 6 months of coding, I have decided to participate in an internship within the FinTech industry. I got the last place on the list of interns and I could say that was one of the best decisions of the learning process. I can feel that at the beginning I was at some level and now I feel much more confident in coding and in all the services that we have covered. Of course, there is still a way to go, but right now I can see the progressive trend in my skills and that is something I like.
Sometimes the solution is one question away sometimes more…and it is ok
One of the things I realized is that some of the problems the beginner in coding could go through are easier and some are harder. Some of the solutions require asking Google and colleagues 3 times and some 15 times. Important is the result. Enjoy the journey, and the problems that you solve. That is the goal. No matter how many times you need to ask. Enjoy it.
Hungry for growth
True. The more I code the more I know. The more I know the more I want to know. Simply, I am hungry for growth of knowledge, because every minute spends on this or (any other) topic is pushing me forward and building my confidence in coding and building apps.
I want to build and create
The more skills I am gathering I feel that I want to create. I have a couple of ideas that I would like to proceed on and will try to document them on the blog. So feel free to follow.
That is it from the summary of my coding journey. Thanks for reading
